In an era of digital overload, our physical environment remains the last frontier of inner silence. My practice is not merely about decoration; it is about calibration. By harmonizing the geometry of a room, we create the physical conditions for the mind to settle.
The Architecture of Silence
Psychology suggests that sharp corners create subconscious visual tension, while organic curvature invites a sense of safety. My work involves auditing homes for these "hidden stressors." We replace harsh overhead lighting with low-level ambient sources (mimicking the campfire) to signal to the body's internal clock that it is time to unwind.
"A home should not demand your attention. It should be the silent background that allows your attention to return to yourself."
